Dr. Carl Gilbert has been in the practice of General Surgery since 1981. He is on the staff of the major hospitals of the Greater Cincinnati. He is a board certified surgeon who is well experienced in all the important fields and/or aspects of General Surgery. As a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he believes he should at all times keep his knowledge well groomed and up to date for the sake of his patients. He also believes in sharing this knowledge with colleagues, especially medical students, interns, residents, nurses or other health providers, for the sake of patients and the advancement of the surgical field. He is a freelance writer who also has good communications skills. Dr Gilbert is active in his community, participating often in educational programs that promote healthy lifestyles in Cincinnati or elsewhere.
